Peacock orders 100 tank containers from CIMC in China
15-10-2009 15:36Peacock, again, orders 100 tank containers (25,000 liters).
Early November 2009, the tank containers to be build by CIMC in China will be delivered and shipped to Rotterdam. The containers will then join the existing Peacock fleet of 1,500 units.
According to Sales Manager Jesse Vermeijden, responsible for the leasing in The Netherlands, UK, Ireland and Scandinavia, this fleet expansion with new material fits perfectly in Peacock's market approach.
Vermeijden says: "Our customers are mostly looking for new tank containers which, if need be after customer-required technical adjustments, will be leased out on long-term contracts for specific transports."
This newbuilding order is part of Peacock's investment program leading to a tank container fleet size of 2,500 units by the end of 2012.
